Solarve | First with the Solar Bus








The company Sanyo Electric Co. Ltd of Japan announced that it has made public the Solar Bus first in the world that is Solarve (diesel vehicles). The bus was inaugurated to commemorate the 100th birthday of transportation and logistics company Ryobi Japan.

Solarve this is basically a city bus with solar cells on top of which generate electricity for interior LED lights.
Sanyo said the solar panels on the buses can generate electric-diesel is good for the total output of 798 watts (420W over crystalline silicon cells, and the rest through the amorphous silicon cells).

When the sun does not shine for a long time, electric power will be supplied by a storage battery in the bus for about nine hours. Bus Solarve expected to become the first in the world and used the beginning of September 2010 (in Okayama City in the southern Japan).
